The Barn Owl was photographed at Ardmore Point, in the Inner Clyde Estuary.  Jim Duncan saw the bird hunting and lay hidden on the ground capturing the bird hunting until, as you can see, it then spotted him and gave this wonderful shot.

Jim used a Nikon D700 Camera with a Nikon 70-300mm f5.6 VR Af-Nikkor lens.
