Distribution: Found in southern England up to the Midlands
Months seen: June to October
Habitat: Hedgerows, gardens, woodland edges and glades
Food: Hedge Woundwort, Stinging Nettles and White Dead Nettles
Special features: Woundwort Shieldbugs are a greyish-white colour and are covered with metallic bronze coloured dots. The head and the front of the pronotum are a metallic bronze colour. The legs are greyish-white with bronze speckles.
This shieldbug is named after its favourite foodplant - Hedge Woundwort, but it can also be found feeding on nettles.
