This shot of a barn owl was photographed by Dick Roberts near his home in East Yorkshire.
Dick feeds and photographs a pair of Tawny Owls most nights but this barn owl turned up unexpected one morning. It's believed to be a female, approx 3 yrs old. The photo was taken on a Nikon D300 with Sigma 150-500 lens.
