UK Safari Tip:
Need help identifying birds? One of the best field guides is the "Collins Bird Guide" - available through the Amazon bookshop -  click here

A recent split from the Yellow Legged gull, this is a Caspian Gull, spotted at Kirkby on Bain, Woodhall Spa, in Lincolnshire on 21st August.

Up to four were present there for a couple of weeks. Although they're quite rare, they are being found more frequently now that identification for the species has been sorted.
