Black Darter by Dean Eades

This picture of an black darter dragonfly was taken by
Dean Eades at Crowle Moor in Lincolnshire.
Dean said it had been raining all morning, then in the early afternoon thee was
a break in the weather and he managed to get within about 12" of the
dragonfly to take this shot.
He used a Canon EOS 30D fitted with a Canon 300mm 2.8 1.4 with extension tube EF25II,
1/800s, f/5.6 at 100.0mm, iso400.
