This photo of a blue tit was taken by Denise Doherty. She used a Canon 1D camera and 100-400mm lens. Denise said “We have a moveable hide set up in the garden and this is where the shot was taken. We set up a woodpecker tree in the garden as although we have an oak and a sycamore, the woodpeckers prefer the silver birch. We fill this daily with
bird cake (dripping, peanut flour, etc.) and of course the tits love it too. The woodpecker tree works well for woodpeckers too! We have had up to four
Great Spotteds visiting at the same time.
