The otter tracks shown above were photographed at Radipole Lake Nature Reserve
in Weymouth, Doset, and were kindly supplied by the Dorset
Otter Group
You can see by the two pence coin alongside that otter prints are only
about 6cms wide by around 8 or 9cms long.
It's rare to see a complete otter track like this unless the ground is very
soft. Often only four of the five toes will leave an impression.
