Due to popular demand I've been asked to write a bit about my
life. I must admit I'm much more interested in sleeping and eating, but
anyway, here goes.
I don't remember much of my childhood, but I do remember the day I was
first taken to Osterley Park in Middlesex. It was there I met Sian. You see I had been taken to the park by my owner, who for reasons
unknown, decided not to take me back home, and instead abandoned me
outside the tearoom there!
So there I was, all alone looking sorry for myself tied up outside the
tearoom, when along came Sian. Luckily for me she took an instant liking
to me, and when it was certain that nobody was coming back to claim me,
she took me home to her house in Isleworth.
Sian really looked after me, and introduced me to some of the finer
things in life like roast chicken, cheese and that special kind of
chocolate for dogs. Even luckier for me Sian worked at Osterley Park, so
I got to go there every day!
While she was doing her job there in the office I used to get pretty
bored, so Sian introduced me to Nathalie. She's was Warden at
Osterley Park and part of her job was to patrol the park on a golf buggy.
This presented me with a great new opportunity. Every day, while Sian
was busy in the office, I got to be Nathalie's assistant and ride around
the park on the buggy. Cool!
A
few years ago Sian left her job at Osterley and moved to
Wales. Luckily for me I got to stay at Osterley, and Nathalie became my
new owner.
Recently we've moved to Kent, Scotney Castle to be exact. This is a
picture of me with all my belongings packed, waiting for the removal van.
I packed everything myself obviously. Didn't want anything getting
damaged!
I
was a bit nervous about moving at first. I'd spent most of my life at
Osterley. I needn't have worried though. The estate at Scotney is MASSIVE, and there's loads of things to see and
do.
We
even get to patrol in
a Land Rover. Wicked! It's got four-wheel drive and a roof and
everything!
Note:
Ted says: "Chocolate is toxic for dogs. Only give specially
formulated chocolate to dogs, available from most pet shops. If in doubt
ask your vet".
